Geoff joined Landpro in November 2014, after completing four years studying surveying at The University of Otago.
In the holiday breaks between studies, Geoff worked in the Frasers underground gold mine at Macraes Flat in order to gain practical surveying experience.
Prior to attending university, Geoff spent 13 years working for the Department of Conservation at Franz Josef Glacier on the West Coast and at Takaka in Golden Bay. The majority of this work was walking track, structure and hut maintenance, along with construction of new tracks. The balance of his time with the department was spent working on the Okarito Brown Kiwi Recovery Program and in the department's electronics lab in Wellington.
Geoff and his fiancée Sarah now live in Cromwell and are looking forward to exploring the outdoors around the region with their new son Oliver.
